Slower tech innovation blamed for lower RSNA attendance

Total attendance at the Radiological Society of North America's 2012 annual meeting fell 9 percent from last year, according to RSNA. The preliminary attendance total for the last day of this year's meeting was 52,980 compared with 2011's last day total of  58,232.  Michel Daher, an analyst with Frost & Sullivan, suggested that while the economy could have affected attendance, the lower numbers could also have something to do with the perception that the meeting wouldn't be packed with innovations.
